ESD Unitec is a standard yet solid seating option. It offers all the standard functions and can be easily adjusted by the user.

Comprehensive discharge capability is not a requirement for many areas. Therefore, ESD Unitec does not feature the conductive plastic components and steel components with conductive coating found on our Bimos ESD models. Nevertheless, there is absolutely no compromise in terms of how the upholstery manages to direct electrostatic charges down to the conductive base.

The workplace and design quality of production and laboratory areas is becoming more and more demanding especially in ESD protected areas. Control of electric discharge can be absolutely critical in work areas like:

Bimos ESD chairs fulfil the requirements of the EN 61340-5-1 standard for use in ESD protected areas (EPAs). Typical discharge resistance is 10⁶ Ω.

Technology:

• Permanent contact backrest - ensures that the backrest responds immediately to any movements of the upper body by following them. Thus, the back remains supported all the time and the backrest can also be locked into any tilt position if required

• Aluminium, powder coated, black. Flat design. Very high stability, longevity and steadiness. Flat design prevents stumbling hazard.

Glides:

• Wear resistant plastic glides with a large surface area and offer a superb level of stability

Footrest:

• Chrome-plated foot ring, adjustable in height
• Provides support through the wide tread area and can be easily and quickly adjusted in height

Upholstery Choices:

1. Fabric: - Hard-wearing, breathable and comfortable fabric cover. - The upholstery is breathable and assimilates and releases humidity.
2. Skai Synthetic leather: - High-quality synthetic leather, washable, low maintenance and impervious to oil and disinfecting agents. Ideal for the use in production and laboratory.
