Static Control with Moulded PLastics

Static electricity is a common problem in the plastic molding and finishing applications since molded plastic parts are highly susceptible to static charging. Operator shocks and product contamination are the two common problems.

Electrostatic fields from the charged parts cause airborne contamination to attract to the surface covering it with dust. That in turn required manual cleaning of the parts slowing production and increasing cost.
