Simco-Ion PerforMAX IQ® System

An intelligent air ionization system that enables the user to be in charge of static electricity. It is designed to efficiently neutralize electrostatic charges on films, paper, non-wovens and fabric in web or sheet form.

The PerforMAX IQ Static Bars are tailored to the application and are available as:

• Speed bars are optimized to operate on high speed webs at distances 2" to 9" [50mm to 230mm]. 
• Hybrid bars are optimized to operate at 6" to 18" [150mm to 460mm] on webs where the web path is somewhat variable.
• Distance bars operate at extended ranges from 12" to 30" [300mm to 760mm] from the web surface.

PerforMAX IQ System Components:

• BPS Power Supply: Communicates complete static control with auto-calibration and dual-axis feedback control.
• Web Monitor & Probe:  Using the downstream charge recognition and automatically responding to fluctuations, the Web Monitor creates a closed-loop, total control, ionization system.
• Remote Monitor:  Displays real-time operating conditions of the IQ bars, such as a fault or clean bar for up to 12 BPS power supplies.
• Communication Module: Creates a remote computer interface link between the IQ system and a PLC or PC, to provide a comprehensive real-time summary of performance and system alarm data.
• Splitter Box: Provides the capability to operate up to 4 static bars on the same BPS power supply.
